Coming up- International Volunteer Day
As International Volunteer Day is round the corner, we, Fingal Volunteer Centre and all the fantastic organisations that we work with would like to show our immense gratitude and appreciation for each one of you. Your selfless dedication, unwavering enthusiasm, and commitment to making a positive impact in our community do not go unnoticed.
Thank you for being the driving force behind positive change, for sharing your time and talents, and for being an inspiration for the whole Fingal community. Your impact extends far beyond the tasks you undertake; it resonates in the smiles you bring, the connections you forge, and the sense of unity you create.
Together, we are making a difference, one act of kindness at a time.
Happy International Volunteer Day!
UCI Cyclo-Cross World Cup 2023- We were there!!
The weather definitely didn’t dampen the spirits of our volunteers at last Sunday’s World cup Cyclocross 2023. This amazing fast paced sporting event, hosted by Cycling Ireland, saw cyclists from around the world compete on a very challenging outdoor course.
Our volunteers helped with the ticket scanning, stewarding both on the course and in the press & media centre as well as in the VIP area and the fan zones.
Many thanks to our volunteer leaders Pat Nolan, Fiona, Aurore and Nilofar and to all who donned the infamous UCI bobble hat to come volunteer on what was a very successful fun-filled event in Blanchardstown Sports Campus. -Ruth
