Fingal Volunteer Centre and Event Volunteers are delighted to announce that we will be presenting on our Event Volunteers project this September at the International Association of Voluntary Effort (IAVE) 23rd World Volunteer Conference in Brisbane, Australia.
Event Volunteers will be presenting alongside our colleagues from Korea and the Russia Federation, under the topic “Wisdom of the Crowd – Volunteers and Major Events” So no pressure there. This is both a delight and an honour for Event Volunteers to be showcased alongside our much bigger presenters and to represent Ireland on the International stage. The conference takes place every two years and highlights excellence and good practice in Volunteer Management. This is the first time a project from the Republic of Ireland will be highlighted at the World Volunteer Conference
