Why not volunteer in your local community

Fingal Inclusion week 2021

Fingal Inclusion Week

Event

As a part of Fingal Inclusion week Fingal Volunteer Centre is offering a free virtual event :

Why not volunteer in your local community?

This is a great occasion to interact with Chiara Tamborini, our Placement and Outreach Officer, and ask all your questions on how to get started in volunteering and select the best volunteer opportunity for you.

Event

The second event is an in-person event organised by the Fingal Community and Sports Hub in partnership with Mountview Youth and Community Centre. We’ll be there with a stand and are more than happy to have a chat about volunteering and how to get involved with whoever might like to drop in.

It’ll be a great way to showcase and highlight opportunities, supports and services in the Dublin 15 area that support social inclusion.

About Fingal Inclusion Week

Fingal Inclusion Week 2020 is an initiative led by Fingal County Council and Fingal Public Participation Network (the PPN). 2020 is the second year this has taken place in Fingal.

Over 30 events will take place across the County of Fingal from Monday 16th November to Friday 20th November. All Fingal Inclusion Week events are free to attend and open to everyone.

Watch this space for more information on this year’s programme of events.

Fingal Inclusion Week aims to:

  • Highlight the positive work that communities, agencies and other organisations are involved in to reduce social exclusion and poverty in Fingal.
  • Raise awareness of the barriers experienced by citizens of Fingal that lead to social exclusion.
  • Promote an understanding of inclusion in Fingal and celebrate diversity across the county.
