July Focus on: Remote/ from Home Volunteering

There are multiple ways to volunteer. Do you know you can volunteer without leaving your home and at the time that suits you? Whether you want to offer your expertise in social media and PR, website development, administrative support, finance management, online mentoring, friendly phone calls, or translation, we have opportunities available in various fields. Not a fan of technology? How about knitting, crochet or present wrapping?

As always, make sure to read the opportunity before registering interest, some do require initial face-to-face training (so location is important to be checked), others do require you to have your own computer and internet, or just a phone.

Below are a few remote roles that are currently available on I-vol:

You can also check for more remote/from home roles directly on I-Vol, via clicking “Are you interested in Volunteering from Home?” link on the home page.

Community Volunteers 🦺

The Community Volunteer program supports local events and is a wonderful way to get involved in the community, meet new people and local organisations.

After a busy weekend at Flavours of Fingal, our team was back the following weekend in Newbridge House estate in Donabate to support the All Ireland Pipe Band Competition, getting unique behind the scenes access to assist the organisers coordinating the numerous groups present that day. A day full of sun and music.

We are working with local groups to assist in their upcoming events and will be posting new shifts in the coming weeks.
If you are already a Community Volunteer, keep an eye on your profile.
