Volunteer Expos (May 2024)
In May, Fingal Volunteer Centre organised 3 Volunteer Expos in Baldoyle, Balbriggan, and Swords featuring locally active organisations.
These expos allowed volunteers to connect with local groups and explore volunteer opportunities that are available close to them.
Thank you to those who attended. Our next Expo will be in Dublin 15 in Autumn. More info will be shared later.
VIO Needs Survey
The 4 Dublin Volunteers Centres are teaming up.
We want to learn about your current and upcoming challenges when it comes to involving volunteers. Your feedback will help us to learn more about the needs of local groups and how we can better support your cause. Your comments will help to guide future projects and services.

Fingal Managing Volunteers Award (FMVA)
The Fingal Managing Volunteers Award (FMVA) is, a collaborative initiative between the Fingal Volunteer Centre and Fingal County Council, to promote excellence in volunteer management practices within Community and Voluntary Organisations across Fingal.
Successful organisations are celebrated and presented with their awards at the Annual Fingal Volunteer Centre’s Volunteer Recognition evening held in December.

Community Volunteers Program
The Fingal Community Volunteers are a dedicated team of trained event volunteers. Along with our Community Volunteer Manager, they are ready to support your special event.
Fingal Community Volunteers have been actively supporting various events across Fingal this season. Notable contributions include their participation in Bord Bia Bloom in Phoenix Park, Waka Waka Africa in Mulhuddart, the Tree Counting/Analysis Project in Donabate, and Safer Together Blanchardstown.

The Good Governance Awards 2024
Drafting your annual report and financial statements can be challenging. Have you heard about Carmichael’s Good Governance Awards 2024?
Irish nonprofits are invited to enter their annual reports and financial statements for the awards. Participation is free and includes individual feedback.

We Act @ Culture Night 2024
For the third year, We Act is partnering with Culture Night on Friday, 20 September 2024, to showcase the work of charities and community groups and promote understanding among people of the community they work with.
We Act @ Culture Night allows organisations to highlight their impact, engage with supporters, and collaborate locally. It is a vibrant event celebrating community work as an essential part of Irish culture. Organisations are encouraged to plan interactive events like panel discussions, tours, and music performances to connect with the community.
