This is a fantastic opportunity to use your skills outside the workplace, gain leadership experience, and be part of a team dedicated to making a difference. Whether you bring experience in finance, fundraising, legal, marketing, or community engagement, your contribution will be invaluable.

As a Board Member (also called Trustee), you will:

  • Support the organisation’s vision and mission by providing strategic direction.
  • Ensure good governance by upholding ethical, financial, and legal responsibilities.
  • Use your specific skills and knowledge to offer expertise and guidance to the rest of the board.
  • Collaborate with fellow board members and the leadership team

Other New Volunteering Opportunities

Here are some new opportunities that have been posted this month on I-vol:

Community Volunteers 🦺

We’re excited to once again support the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in the Blanchardstown and Balbriggan through our Community Volunteers program. Hosted by Fingal County Council, this vibrant event celebrates St. Patrick’s Day with a wonderful mix of community spirit and Irish tradition.

As a community volunteer, your main duties will be to support members of the community with entry and exit to the sensory area. The area is designed to ensure that children/ adults with sensory needs have a dedicated spot at the heart of the event that is not overcrowded, so that they can watch the passing parade.

St. Patrick’s day parades are happening on Monday 17th March 2025. The role is from 11am to 2pm at both locations.
