Come and meet them to learn more about their cause and opportunities. Whether it is mental health, environmental conservation, community support, sports, youth service… we got you covered.

There’s no pressure to sign up for a role during the expo, you can simply explore what interests you. We encourage individuals who live, work, or spend time in and around Baldoyle and Balbriggan to attend the expo and help make them a success!

Focus on – Volunteering with Community Radio Stations

This month, we want to tell you more about the world of community radio and volunteering!!
Community radio stations serve as vital hubs of communication, fostering connections and amplifying voices within local neighborhoods and diverse communities.
At the heart of these stations are dedicated volunteers who embody the spirit of community engagement and grassroots empowerment. From hosting shows that celebrate cultural diversity to producing content that addresses pressing social issues, community radio volunteers play a pivotal role in shaping the narrative of their localities and empowering voices that may otherwise go unheard.

Community Volunteers 🦺

This April, Dublin School Summit 2024 in Blanchardstown provided a fulfilling experience for Fingal Community Volunteers who dedicated their day to support over 1,000 secondary school students and their teachers. They assisted in navigating the expo, which featured representatives from Dublin colleges, the defense forces, and numerous other career paths.

If you are already a Community Volunteer, check out your CV profile for upcoming events on I-vol.
If you are interested in becoming a community volunteer and volunteering at one-off events in your community, please contact us info@volunteerfingal.ie
