We are so sorry to inform you that unfortunately we have to cancel the Volunteer EXPO this coming Saturday 3rd October in Balbriggan.

This is due to the “work to rule” industrial action by the Local Authority employees which is starting tomorrow, Wednesday 30th September. Although we are not local Authority staff, the Our Balbriggan Hub (Where the EXPO was to be held) has to be opened and supported throughout the event by a local Authority staff member.

We are sincerely sorry that the event has to be cancelled and for the short notice. We were only made aware of the situation today. We really see the benefit of hosting a Volunteer EXPO and will be in touch when we have a new date in place which may be in 2027.
