October focus on: Phone Support Volunteers
Phone Support Volunteer is a rewarding and dynamic remote role that serves various segments of the community.
Some roles are about answering phone calls, you’ll act as an information provider, answering questions, assisting rescue workers, offering guidance… You are often the first point of contact for individuals seeking support and care, representing the organisation with compassion and dedication.
Other roles are about making phone calls, mostly to individuals who are isolated and the calls mostly involve having a friendly conversation.
Make sure to check every role, some require you to have a laptop to answer the calls, other roles only require a phone. Some roles can be done from home, others from the organisation’s office. Training is provided in every role.

Participants actively volunteering in various sectors voiced the same thing: Volunteering is good for you!

Community Volunteers
Following a thrilling event in 2023, we are excited to return to the Sport Ireland Campus near Blanchardstown to support the UCI Cyclo-Cross event!
Community Volunteers will cover various roles on the day e.g. scanning tickets at the entrance, supporting visitors with directions, helping out in a strategic location such as where the cyclists train, the media centre, the anti-doping testing area…
While roles are mostly outdoor and the day can be cold and wet, we do foresee the amount of fun will keep us warm.
The event is taking place on Sunday 1st December in the Sport Ireland Campus (near Blanchardstown, Dublin 15) from 8am to 4pm.
If you want to register your interest for the role,
